Stampin' Around Wheel Gift Boxes

Oh my where does my life go!!!!! At least 3 weeks ago I went down with a cold and I'm still struggling to really get rid of it. As a consequence everything is behind schedule which isn't good as in just two weeks I shall be jetting off to the Stampin'Up! Convention. I'm so looking forward to all the chat and catching up with other demos and also to carry out some swaps which I think I may just about get made!!!
I've signed up for a double page 6x6 scrapbook swap which will be so useful as I'm fairly new to scrapping and to have some other ideas and examples to show all of you will be great and a very useful resource. The other swaps are for card fronts, 3d items whatever you wish to make to share with other demos. I'm not making cards, but will put pictures online when I return from convention. I'll also, I hope, have news of our new incentive location. I'm hoping that I might just achieve sales and recruiting targets this year to get invited and with luck some of my team will join me. There will I'm sure be lots of other news and lots of fun.
Today I have a 3d item to show you which is effectively a simple top 'n' bottom gift box which I have decorated using the jumbo 'So Swirly' wheel. They look very impressive for your Christmas gifts and will fit in several CD or other probably more excitingly Stampin'Up! gifts!!!!!!!!!!
This leads me nicely onto my new friend Kate who runs a gift business, The Magpie Store, in our local area. She runs parties and stalls selling beautiful gifts from pashminas to little girl's handbags, cuddly toys and kitchenalia. All her items are very reasonably priced and once you have bought your gifts you can come and make gift boxes with me, just call to arrange a time and you can learn. You can check out Kate's website here.
I hope all of you are managing to avoid the autumnal bugs and I hope to be a more frequent blogger from now on. I've so many things to show you! So I'll leave it there for now and be back soon.

Hugs Z x
