Workshop Fun with Stampin' Up!

Well it's been an interesting 10 days or so. Last weekend I took the opportunity to have some special girl time with Olivia, once we'd dropped Charlie off at a party. We did lunch and then hit that designer shop Primarni! Olivia is loving experimenting with fashion and what better place for cost effective fashion conscious not quite teen shopping spree!!!! Spent out we headed back to get the boy only to have him return home to negotiate being paid to go to bed!!! Needless to say he lost that negotiation. Olivia is now in the middle of panto time and is thriving on the excitement of curtain up etc. Meanwhile I'm exhausted just trying to get everyone in the right place at the right time! But hey if you don't weaken it beats vegging at home!

I've also been busy with my crafting and at one of my recent workshops I demoed this card as the make and take. It uses the fun Sale-a-bration set Happy Moments which really lends itself to lots of cards for happy moments. This is obvious as a birthday card, but in different colour combos and wording you could make it for an anniversary, wedding or Christmas. The punched out circles give texture and depth to the project along with the layered parcels. I used the blender pens and ink pads to add some colour to the top parcel which is just stamped. I love the combo of old olive, chocolate chip and bashful blue. Needless to say all the ladies and children came up with their own wonderful creations and I've loaded them onto my customer blog The Stamping Hamster for you to browse and gather inspiration.

I hope your week is progressing well. I'll be back soon with more news and pics.
Hugs Zx

This present stack is a fab stamp isn't it? So versatile. Love all the punched circles btw, mirroring the spots on the top package. Makes a great mans card in these colours.
