Happy Mothering Sunday

Happy Mothering Sunday everyone. I hope this finds you having a good day either as a Mum or with your Mum! Here in Lincolnshire it's a beautiful day with the sun shining and signs of Spring finally appearing. So much so that we are spending our day in the garden.
I have received some beautiful homemade cards and goodies from my children which I will share with you soon.
I've also received a great gift from Charlie, well it's one of those gifts that with a week full or workshops, Stampin' Up! training which needs lots of swaps and lots of other trials I really didn't need!! He's got chicken pox! They popped out over the last couple of days! Thankfully after an initial roaring temperature he seems happy in himself, just itchy. We'll watch to see how he progresses.
I also have some great news to share. Following on from the Stampin' Up! fundraiser in Jan/Feb I'm delighted to tell you that I will shortly be sending off a cheque to the Haitian Appeal for £35 raised as a result of all you good people who bought the Greenhouse Garden Stamp Set. The company itself with its worldwide appeal will be sending over £18, 000 to the appeal. Well done everyone and thank you.
I also said that for everyone who joined in, to support this appeal by buying a set from me, I would enter their name in a draw for a Pretties Kit. The lucky winner is Anna S who bought her set at her workshop last month. Congratulations Anna, I look forward to seeing what you do with your stamps and Pretties Kit.
I also offered the chance to win the either the hostess benefit spend or hostess stamp set for all those who bought the new heart punch from me and with this draw Lindsey P won the stamp set and Maria A won the spend. Congratulations to both of you and again I look forward to seeing what you create.
So I'm off back to the garden and then an evening of making my swaps for later this week when I'm looking forward to catching up with other demos in Coventry at our training and also to an old school friend that I haven't seen in years who is coming to the Stampin' Up! Extravaganza night in Coventry with her Mum and daughter. It will be a great time for remembering fun experiences.
Bye for now and back soon.
Hugs Zx
ps forgot to mention that my card today is made using A Rose is a Rose set, Frames with Flourish and Occasional Greetings. The dotty background is one of our fabby background stamps. Have a great day!
