We can do it too!

Hi everyone! Hope you're coping with this wet BH weekend! My little/big girl has gone camping in this awful weather. I hope she's alright. She's on guide camp and the leader said we weren't allowed to help them put up the tents or they couldn't earn their camp badges!!! It was hard to drive away and see them all standing like sheep in a wet field!!! Her little brother is missing her too, but I'm sure he'll start the first fight once she's home!!

Now my cards today are to show that even when we see US Stampin' Up! stuff we can adapt and do designs too! The bottom card is one I made whilst on holiday in the US recently with my US demo friend at a stamp a stack. The one above is one I made when I got home with kit we have here. The US has a bauble punch that lends itself well to being a vase once you cut a piece off and so I decided to play with a circle punch to make the one above. I've topped and tailed it to get a similar effect. I've also added some faux embossing by sticking mini circles from the 1/8th punch onto it. The flowers are from boho blossoms and the stems are from one of my favourite sets Pocket Silhouettes. A simple but elegant finish. Have a go I'm sure you can adapt it further and if you do email me a pic and I'll post it here for you.

Tomorrow, but more likely today when most folk read this, I'll be at the Papercrafts Show in North Hykeham, Lincoln with my team the TANTalising Stampers so come along and say hello to us. You can book in to make a card with us.

See you soon.

Hugs Zx

What a weekend to go camping... I hope she has had fun nonetheless and is not too wet!

Love how you've adapted the card and it sounds like you had a good day at the show.
