Stamp Something Challenge

Hi all, I've made this pretty card for the challenge over at Stamp Something where the challenge is to make something showing thanks. Of course it's an american challenge site primarily and so the thoughts are for Thanksgiving which is next week, but I've gone with an approach of thanks for all the beautiful things we have like the friendship I get through sharing my stamping with others.  Since being a Stampin Up demonstrator I have made so many new friends and shared so much fun and creativity.  Today I've spent time with Roz who is also a demo and a new friend and tonight I'll be at my good friend Wendy's for a workshop where I know for sure we will have fun.  Wendy's a great hostess and always invites lovely guests so I'm looking forward to it.
Now I will share the detail of my card with you.  It incorporates greenhouse gala designer series paper, ornate flowers set, marker pens and the gorgeous new pear pizzazz in colour stitched poly ribbon.  The cut out flowers were also embossed with clear embossing powder two or three times to give an enamelled/varnished look and to make them a little more luxurious. I've also added a little bit of border with the new scallop trim border in pumpkin pie and the sentiment is framed with the new modern label and designer label punches.  To finish the luxury I've added pearls which a great favourite and so easy to use to add embellishment to your projects.
Now I'm off for tea and to check my kit before leaving for fun at Wendy's.
Thanks for sharing your time here.
Hugs Zx

Thanks for a lovely afternoon Zoe.
Thats a gorgeous card…looks ever better seeing it for real :) the embossing is really effective and I love the way you have used the inmate from the paper for embellishment.
See you again soon
