Where do you get your inspiration?

I've been using a lot of crystal effects lately and it reminded me of this card I made a while ago.  It came to me having bought this skirt from Boden.  It led me to thinking where everyone gets their inspiration.  So leave a comment and let me know.  My card is very simple I've used different size circle punches to make the rings and then added crystal effects to one or two to give some texture.  To make the rings you need to punch the smaller circle out first and then the larger one around the hole!!!

I look forward to borrowing your inspiration sources so let me know.

Definitely colours for me - I usually pick a few and start working. I rarely use more than one or two stamp sets on one card but occasionally I go mad and use three - lol

Congratulation to all your lucky winners! My inspiration comes from anywhere. I once saw a fantastic combination being worn by a lady at a dance class, my ironing pile inspires me because all colours are in there together & sometimes it throws up an intersting combination! It's very rare I get inspired by a scene, it's mostly colour. Other people's creations are also very inspiring. x
