A new challenge

stampin up demonstrator uk zoe tant

Like many I've found a new challenge blog called Less is More and their challenges are all about cards being clean and simple which really appeals to me as sometimes you just need something to say a message, but don't want it to be too fussy.  This time they have a colour combo for you to use also and that is Black, White & Pink. With Valentine's looming on the horizon inevitably love came into my entry and I used a sentiment that could pass for Valentines or for a wedding card or maybe something else!  I stamped one of the hearts from I (heart) Hearts and then decided to cut it out and use the reverse of it, odd I know, but that's me!  On that pretty in pink heart I've adhered some basic pearl strings and two punched hearts using the mini heart punch, one in whisper white the other from a piece of glittered card which I produced with heat and stick powder and black glitter from our fine galaxy set.  As a backdrop for my hearts the Music Notes standard stampin around wheel in basic black adds just enough imagery and a sentiment from Heard from the Heart finishes my 'hearty' theme.
Why not have a go at this challenge or one of the future ones and see how clean and simple you can be........
I've also joined in with the challenge at
Papertake Weekly - Have a heart
Allsorts Challenge Blog - It must be love love love
Creative Craft World Challenge - Love card Challenge
More soon
