Cards for boys!

It's Charlie's birthday next week so in amongst the dust of kitchen renovation I've been turning my attention to cards for the boys! This one uses designer series paper from the Stampin' Up! UK spring/summer catalogue called Adventure Bound.  It's a mini stack which is just perfect for project life, cards and traditional scrap booking when you have your men and boys in the pictures. It's a stack full of paper photograph textures like this brick wall and teamed with a project life grid card which I've punched using the spiral border punch, some wooden elements and some stamping from Bravo, Tape It and Work of Art it's great for a boy in your life.  Not sure it's quite Charlie, but it's a step in the right direction.
Now a kitchen update. We had to have the old plaster removed as it had blown in some places, but it's now all been done and looks like this!
Today the singing (and I call it that in the loosest sense!) builder has started to lay the tile floor. It's beginning to look like a kitchen again.

Okay I'm off now to tidy up, but really get distracted with a little more crafting as I'm behind with my Christmas Card Club offerings.
See you soon and thanks for checking in.

Love that bold color on the face of this card. So impressive against that texture of the brick. A young fella is going to just love being made to feel special. Enjoyed seeing the pictures of your remodel. You are going to just love that large block tile. So very pretty - easy to keep clean too! TFS

A great male card Zoe. I love that notepad edge punch I really should use it more, it looks great here.
I can see that your kitchen is coming along nicely, it will be worth all the mess and turmoil in the end.
