Cheer Up buttercup!

Stampin' Up! Blooms and Wishes to brighten your day

It's been so cold that I thought we could all do with some pretty, bright and cheerful cards.  This is a quick and easy card I made using Stampin' Up! sets Blooms and Wishes and Timeless Textures.  I've used colours from the subtles collection, but they are still cheerful if a little more gentle than the brights.  Calypso coral, blushing bride, pear pizzazz, so saffron and pool party combine to make a collage of images with the flowers just fussy cut and raised on stampin dimensionals.  Some basic rhinestones as you know this girl loves her bit go bling.

Moving Along with the Times challenge time

I'm a dog lover and as you know have a crazy Border Collie so when this new stamp set appeared in the Stampin' Up! catalogue I couldn't resist.  It's so adorable and I've used Bella and Friends for my design team card for the challenge of 'no designer papers' over at MAWTT set by Janice.  Please do visit our blog and see the DT creations and join in the challenge. It's just for fun and we'd love to see what you do with this theme which is almost an anything goes opportunity.

I love these colours too which are all from our fabulous in colour collections. You can see here Mint Macaron, Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Watermelon Wonder and Peekaboo Peach.  You might recognise them from the front cover of the Stampin' Up! catalogue.

I've stamped Bella and Percy in black Staz On ink and then used a blender pen to pick up colour from the ink pad lids to colour in the images.  I've also stamped Percy and the balloon twice so that I could fussy cut them out and add a little dimension to the scene.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

I've exciting news today also.  From today until the end of July for every £45 you spend in each single order you will receive via email a coupon to use in August when shopping again with Stampin' up!.  You can shop online with me today HERE

Bella and Friends - How cute

As a big fan of dogs I couldn't resist this cutie. I adore this sweet little dog named Bella and her friends in the Stampin' Up! set Bella and Friends.   Such a fun set of stamps and as you can see she looks cute surrounded by pretty flowers as well as more cheeky on kraft card stock.

Our faithful hound is Ben the Border Collie who keeps us on our toes and is never far away from mischief.

I managed to take this picture a couple of days ago holding his attention with his beloved heavily chewed plant pot.

Who's your fur baby please do share a picture.  Zx

Stampin Up Timeless Texture Birthday

Have you tried out Timeless Textures stamp set yet?  It's a chip of the old block of Stampin' Up! Gorgeous Grunge.  You can turn it to all manner of cards whether fun, funky and modern like this or for more subtle texturing on pretty and feminine cards.

I've teamed it here with bright watermelon wonder and cucumber crush card stock, sequin stars and stamped stars from Something to Say, which is sadly retiring. It's been a great set and one I've used a lot.  You can also see sneaks of Going Global with it's star constellations and that is another one to retire. You can get these and other stamps up to the end of May or while supplies last.

I am also a big washi tape fan and the bottom border of green and spots is washi.  It's so easy to use and add colour and pattern and you can either be OCD and cut it neatly with scissors or tear it and go for rough modern edges.

I'm looking forward to new punches coming in the annual catalogue to replace those seen hear and some awesome sets of layered shape framelits. OOOh you're in for such a treat.

Keep watching for sneak peeks, but don't forget to get your wish list favourites before they are gone for good.

Stampin' Up! Balloon Celebration Wedding Favours

Today I'm at the biannual Stampin' Up! Onstage Event at Telford International Centre.  It's a gathering of the crazy Stampin' Up! folk from all over the UK.  We're here to learn about new products coming your way in June and also to get our hands on the new catalogue.

I'm sharing my team swaps with you today.  I've adapted the Stampin' Up! Bakers Box and added a fun twist using lolly sticks and the balloons punched out of brights card stock.  I've also used Balloon Celebrations stamp set to add some images to the black boxes.  These were stamped in whisper white craft ink, which is a pigment ink so it needs time to dry or you can use it to heat emboss adding clear or white embossing powder before the ink dries then heating with your heat gun. I choose to just let it dry and it gives a kind of chalk board effect which is fun with these bright balloons.  These would make fabulous favours for children's birthdays of weddings.

Each box contains some treats in the form of mini Tic Tac boxes in different flavours and a mini hand cream tube.  An eclectic mix of treats true!!!

Come back tomorrow and I'll be sharing one of my card swaps that I made to share with other demos to get different ideas and inspiration in return.

Have a good Saturday. I know I will be.

Hugs Zx
