Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Totally Techniques Blog Hop

Stampin' Up! Demonstrators Technique Blog Hop

Welcome if you've arrived from Nadine's blog. Her project is fabulous.  Isn't it fun to see so many different variations of the same technique.   If you've joined here with me welcome to our January Totally Techniques blog hop.  This month we're sharing some examples of the baby wipe technique.

So what do you need to do to create this effect.

1. Place a baby wipe on a plastic surface, I found the inside of a Stampin Up stamp case is just perfect.
2. Stamp your image in black stazon onto the baby wipe.
3. Add drops of ink using your re inkers around the stamped image to effectively 'colour' it with ink.
4. Your black image should show through depending upon the colours used on the baby wipe. Take your clean image stamp and place in the same position as the stamped image and use the baby wipe as a stamp pad with multicolour inks.
5. Stamp your image.

So that is how simple this is.  You can then use the same home made ink pad to stamp a back ground on your card. I used Stampin Up Timeless Textures and Gorgeous Grunge.  I added some punched embellishments using Stampin' Up's Sprinkles punch.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the HOP!  Zx

Stampin Up Thailand Acheivers Blog Hop

It's time for another blog hop around Stampin' Up! demonstrators across the Globe who earned points to go to Thailand. Our theme this month is Sale-a-bration.
Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration blog hop of demos around the world.

I've cased and added my own twist to this card which you can find in the Sale-a-bration (SAB) brochure showing all the free gifts you can earn when you Shop, Join or Host with Stampin' Up! during January, February or March.  If you're in the UK and would like a copy of any of our catalogues please do contact me at zoetant@live.co.uk . The SAB set I've used on both my cards is called Delicate Details and is made up of 5 stamps with different lace designs. As you can see it is great for backgrounds and you can use them for frames and borders too.  You could have it for FREE
too!

The top card is stamped and heat embossed on water colour paper and then colour washed with Stampin' Up! re inkers and aqua painters. The beautiful flowers are Stampin' Up! Special Reason set with it's equally gorgeous Stylish Stems framelits.  You can see a sneak peek at some SAB metallic ribbon too.   The colours used are sweet sugar plum, peekaboo peach and flirty flamingo.
Second card too is using sweet sugar plum along with vanilla and black.  I've teamed it with trusty Stampin Up sets Flower Shop and Petite Petals both have coordinating punches.

You can get more Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration inspiration by visiting others below.  Remember to contact me for more information about Joining, shopping or hosting with Stampin' Up! in the UK.
