The Simply Scored Diagonal Plate from Stampin' Up!

Origami gift boxes made with the Simply Scored Scoring Tool and Diagonal Plate
A few posts back I shared with you the wonderful new Simply Scored Scoring Tool. It's a fab piece of kit and can be used for numerous projects not least the one above.  Connect your scoring tool with the diagonal plate and you can make delightful gift boxes in different sizes.  On their own in christmas papers like Holly Berry Bouquet Specialty DSP they make inexpensive, but classy decorations for your dinner table or under your tree, but of course you can choose your paper and make any colour way for these simple origami boxes.

The diagonal plate also allows you to make custom envelopes for your cards and comes with some popular size envelope instructions for you to follow, but you can customise your envies for each card you make.  Check out this video to see how you can make envelopes.

If your interested in trying out the Stampin' Up! Simply Scored Scoring Tool with the diagonal plate then contact me about a class.

Stampin' Up! Pocket Silhouettes

It's happy birthday time for the Less is More Challenge blog.  Congrats to Chrissie and Mandi for all their efforts in making this such a successful challenge over the past twelve months.  To mark their first anniversary they have repeated their first challenge of 12 months ago of a colour challenge and this is AQUA.  So I've used bashful blue, pool party, marina mist, indigo island and baja breeze to create this card using one of my favourite Stampin' Up! sets of Pocket Silhouettes with a little bit of Autumn Days thrown in.  My sentiment is from the US set Full of Life.   A simple post it note works perfectly as a mask to stamp all the lovely plants around it.  Markers help you to add different shades to the sentiment to highlight certain words.

Have a great weekend and try a challenge yourself!

Elusive Masculine cards !

stampin up demonstrator zoe tant
Hello everyone.  It's been a busy week culminating with Stampin' Up! training in Coventry on Saturday which I attended with several members of my team which was great fun.  We stopped on the way home for a meal at TGI Fridays and returned having had lots of fun to rural Lincolnshire.
Since returning I've been preping for my numerous techniques clubs this week, but found enough time to make this masculine card for the challenge over at Less is more.  I've used one of my favourite sets Autumn Days which is very popular with my customers as many go shooting or are farmers.  I used the rock and roll technique to varigate the leaf colour and markers to make Fergal the Pheasant colourful.  My sentiment is from Occasional Greetings.  The layers, although all very vanilla add some depth to this simple card.
Finally today I'd like to thank everyone for all their thoughtful comments following the death of my friend Pamela, whether on here as a comment, face to face or via a card.   Thank you your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated.
Back soon.

Christmas Wreath

Having thought I'd shaken off my cold it's been back with a double whammy since the weekend. So much so that I'm behind on everything but thought I'd share a quick card with you. Inspired by some of the Scottish Demos this wreath is created using a stamp from the new Autumn Days set. It's really easy and looks effective with this stamp or indeed if you use Pocket Silhouettes, below. I've added a little bit of pizzazz with our new glitter and a two way glue pen, a gingham bow and ta da you have it. A simple effective chrimbo card.

I really hope I kick this cold soon as I still have so much to do for Convention next week along with workshops and classes. I hope you are all avoiding colds.

Back with more soon.

Hugs Zx

I've used our new set Autumn Days to make this very simple but elegant card. I first saw this idea from several of the scottish demonstrators using Pocket Silhouettes, but I'm glad to say it works just as well with this stamp from our new catalogue. I've also used our new, oh so simple but incredibly useful two-way glue pens that are great for just adding delicate spots of glitter to projects. OOhh and the glitter is just as sparkly and gorgeous as our longstanding Dazzling Diamonds. You can now buy it in sets of 5 colours for just £12.95 and highlight, add sparkle and pizzazz to just about anything.
If you're punch fan too there are plenty of those for you to get zapping with in the form of a butterfly (with co-ordinating stamp set!), word window for adding sentiments and a large 1 3/4 inch circle to name a few.
