Christmas Card Club - My challenge

Way back last year when our lovely organiser Margaret asked for themes for our fortnightly friendly challenge I thought that cute and cosy would be a good theme, but today I've struggled now it's here and time to come up with the goods.

Usually punch art gets me out of this hole, but today whilst I've used these  fun cat and dog punches it's not exactly punch art.  However I do think that the Stampin' Up! Nine Lives and Happy Tails stamp sets are full of cute and what could be more cosy than your cuddly pets at Christmas. I love the wool balls as bunting and in good old green and red it's instantly Christmas.  Add some tartan paper from the soon to retire Under the Mistletoe pack and I think it's actually turned out OK!

Christmas is a time that family and friends come together and so it's nice to think that the cat will love the mouse, the dog will love the cat and no one will have an issue with red bows on their collars or indeed a little bit of Wink of Stella to make them sparkle, even if friendly reader you can't actually see it in my pictures; believe me it is there.

I do hope you'll take a look at the cards of my lovely CCClub  friends and that you'll perhaps join us in being prepared early for Christmas with your cards, we are after all 1/3 of the year already down.

If you like either of these stamp sets or punches you can buy them in my online shop and until the end of this month buy the dog punch and coordinating Happy Tails stamp set and you'll save yourself 10% off the price of buying them individually.

Thanks for checking in and Happy Sunday.

Christmas Card Club - Post Box

I got all mixed up with Christmas Card Club and missed a couple, but I'm hopefully back on track now with this one which was set by Valery who asked us to feature a post box.  I went for the punch art option and a very clean and simple card.

I used some Stampin' Up! dazzling diamonds glimmer paper along the bottom to give some depth and distance between the trees and and my punch art post box and as you know I love a bit of bling.  The trees are from the popular Sleigh Ride Edgelits and with the fine tip glue pen (I'm lovin' this new glue from the winter catty) I've added some dazzling diamonds glitter to the trees to make them look like they have tinsel adorning them.  If you like the Stampin' Up! Sleigh Ride Edgelit dies you can see another example and the other dies in the set on my earlier Christmas Card Club post.

Sentiment is from Oh What Fun, which you will have seen a taste of in my earlier post featuring the MAWTT challenge card.

Travelling home today from Brussels so look out soon for some sneak peeks as we are due to get our hands on the new Spring/Summer catalogue and maybe a treat to play with so watch this space.

Have a good Sunday.
