Stampin' Up! Wedding Cards
Stampin' Up! Sunshine Wishes Thinlet Dies
We've been lucky this weekend in central Lincs to have had sun all weekend and only rain from five today at the end of an overcast cooler day. Lots has been achieved by the Tants with a part of our garden revealed that hasn't seen the light of day for years so much so we've found a path we forgot we had! Lots of pruning too and at last the garden is looking more like a garden than a bramble, stinging nettle sub continent.
Since the rain though I've been crafting; such a blow, but someone has to do it. Wedding season is in full swing now and I've been making a few cards recently. This one is very simple, but quite modern and funky. I was inspired by a card I found on pinterest to use this colour scheme and the copper foil heart really 'pops' when used on basic grey card. The simple sentiment from Stampin' Up! Rose Wonder says what it needs to and the intertwined hearts, achieved with a simple snip in a convenient place to lock one into the other and hide the SNIP. A final add is some white perfect accents in varying sizes. Simple, but effective.
Time now for a cuppa and early night as I'm off to the vets in the morning as our poor dog has a dental issue which will require sedation for it to be sorted. I hate it when he's under the weather.
Here's hoping you've had a good extended weekend.

Moving Along with the Times - Graduation
Stampin' Up! Crafting Forever
My design team entry for the Moving Along with the Times Graduation Challenge is a bit of a throwback really as I've used a stamp that Stampin' Up! sold in 2015 which simply said 'Class of 2015' with a mortar board hat. I used it for some table favours that my daughter took to her prom. This year she graduates from school completely and if all goes well she's off to university in September. I will miss her lots, but don't tell her I said that......
So for my challenge card I've mixed the old mentioned above with the new Stampin' Up! set Crafting Forever and one that is staying at least for another year You've Got This, well at least the back ground stamp from it. Mingling Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist with black has made a card with that 'WOW' factor. The numbers are die cut with the Large Number dies in black card stock and to give the shine I've covered each one with fine tip glue and let it dry. It works similar to the old crystal effects. As you know I'm always adding a bit of bling and so some metallic enamel stars are perfect for my star pupil.
Come and join us for our challenge at MAWTT, all styles and products welcome. At the very least visit to see lots of inspiration from the rest of the design team.
More soon
