Sale-a-bration examples

Today I finally got around to tidying up my crafty patch! I also managed to overcome the urge to tackle the ironing mountain, you know the one that sits in the corner glaring at you, and make some cards. To show that you really can make all the cards in the catalogue I made a couple that are in the sale-a-bration brochure and amended them slightly. I've used punches, pastels, brads and buttons for the one on the left in bashful blue, certainly celery and whisper white. For the righthand one I've stamped polka dots background and then used the sale-a-bration set Polka Dot Punches for the flower and side semi circles. Here the colours are so saffron, kraft and bashful blue. Remember you can get Polka Dot Punches for free if you order £45 from me during January & February.I've also made some birthday cards today as my stock is so low. I love this colour combination of elegant eggplant for the base card, so saffron and very vanilla to hold the image make the flower heads. They were stamped with so saffron ink using Polka Dot Punches set and then punched out with SU's 5 petal flower punch. I've used retired eyelets for the centre but you could also stamp the flower again using always artichoke and punch out the centre using a 3/4" punch and then adhere to the so saffron flowers. The flower stem is from Stem Sayings set and the leaves are from A Rose is a Rose. Both stamped with Always Artichoke. Always artichoke grosgrain ribbon and a ribbon slider from the retired hodgepodge hardware finish off this pretty birthday card.
Guess I'd best go climb that mountain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
