In love with stamping colour challenges

Every week or so there is an SU cardstock colour challenge. You have to make a card using the colours in the challenge. This week the challenge is to use tempting turquoise, apricot appeal, green galore and gable green. I thought this was really difficult and they are colours that you wouldn't have ever considered putting together. Anyway I decided to have a go and sometime later.................. I came up with this.

The cute ladybug is out of Garden Whimsey and the big flower is stamped with the 5 petal stamp from Polka Dot Punches and then punched with the 5 petal flower punch. I used silver wire for the bug's antennae and dazzling diamonds glitter to add sparkle. I guess I achieved the aim with the colours, but not sure I'd rush to put them together again! Why don't you have a go or visit ILWS to see other challenges with SU products. Contact me for supplies or join my techniques club starting next month to learn more ways to get the WOW factor in your cards!

Take a look also at another SU demonstrator's great Valentine's Day cards you can see Steph's blog here.
