Less is more! - Go for simple

I was thinking the other day, but I've got over it now!!! Anyway I did think that sometimes we try too hard and often less is more and we don't always need to make our cards and craft projects over complicated. My daughter proved this with these great cards that she made yesterday. She made them all on her own from design to production. She's very excited that I've shared them with you! When she grows up she wants to be a Stampin'Up! Demo like Mummy!! I think she's making a great start. She used her very own Tart & Tangy stamp set and 'Cheers to you' is from her Cheers to You stamp set too! She'd like me to pay rent if I use them, but as the ink pads are mine we've come to an arrangement!!!!!!!!!!!!!As she made me realise that less can often be more I decided to make a simple card also and here it is. A Rose is a Rose is a beautiful stamp set and can be used in so many ways. I've just stamped it in Bashful and Brocade Blue using my stampamajig and the leaves are in Old Olive. I've added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the flower and a Bashful Blue taffeta ribbon. The image is stamped on Whisper White and mounted on Bashful Blue and then Brocade Blue. Simple but beautiful.

Your daughter's cards are wonderful. She sounds like my daughter. I had to pay her one pack of bold brights cardstock for helping me stick down my DSP samples for my inspiration book!

I love your Rose is a Rose card too - so pretty in those colours.
