Tuesday's Techniques Club

On Tuesday night one of my techniques clubs was hosted by Julie. She wanted us to look at making 3-d projects and so here are some of the items we made. Using large paper clips from Staples, the scallop circle punch, 1 3/8 & 11/4 circle punches, Tart & Tangy stamp set, signo gel pen and mini glue dots we made bookmarks. These can be adapted to suit the user, although I think anyone would be thrilled with a fruity one!!!

Additionally everyone made a mini origami box using the Washington Apple Designer Series Paper, the Oval All stamp set and oval punches all from the mini catalogue. Everyone enjoyed making these projects and they left more relaxed than they arrived............even if they did get in a pickle with the very sticky sticky strip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally I quickly demonstrated how to make a 2.4.6.8 box and decorated it with die cut blooms and a rhinestone brad. As usual conversation was lively and we had a giggle! Someone put their foot in their mouth about their Mother-in-law not realising others new her! Now how often have we all done that????!!!!!!!!.

I'm definitely stealing the paperclip/bookmark idea. Way to go!
