Another challenge!

This week's challenge for Stamp with Us is to make a project using a recipe.
The recipe given is to use:-

4 patterend papers
2 colours of cardstock
No other embellishments

So I've used

Bashful blue & Rose Red designer series papers
Whisper White & Old Olive cardstock
Petal Pizzazz stamp set
Boho Blossom, 1/4 inch circle & Scallop square punches.

It's made ready for my friend Fiona's birthday later this week.

This was quite a tough challenge especially when you are used to embellishing your projects with buttons & bows and such like, but I quite enjoyed it once I got into it.

Tonight I've been busy with one of my technique clubs. We looked different effects you can create with heat embossing. It all went really well apart from when one person who will remain nameless, but knows who she is...............! versamarked the stamp and then proceeded to put embossing powder onto the stamp!!! Luckily we stopped her heating it! Anyway upshot is she enjoyed it all so much she's ordered the heat gun, versamark and all the other bits you need. It's so much more fun if you can giggle don't you think! After all I've found a great definition for the word 'girl' and that is 'a giggle wrapped in sunshine'. How lovely is that.

Now I must away. Tomorrow could be sunny again and it's a shame to be too tired to enjoy it.

Hugs

I like this layout Zoe and the dinky Boho Blossoms punched from DSP. A clean and uncluttered design even with so many different papers involved. Love it. Sara xx
