Everyone can! Even Charlotte!

Last night my friend Charlotte came round to have her second shot at stamping. The first time she came she was convinced that anything she made would be so awful she couldn't possibly stamp handmade by and her name on the back of it, but she did by the end and was chuffed with the final result. Last night she was slightly more confident that she could produce something special. As you can see she did. She made a beautiful card for her Dad only kidding her Mum of course and she hasn't done that for a long time. I can't wait to hear of her mum's reaction. I have no doubt that she will be thrilled and even Charlotte was quick to stamp on the back to announce the maker.
Anyone can stamp and any design is beautiful. There is no right or wrong way to make projects just your way and for anyone who receives them it will be right!

I spoke in my last post of my first attempt at stamping at a party with friends in the US. I still have the card and I've photographed it here to show you. It was very simple. I copied the hostess the whole way and I still copy or should I say get inspiration from others and challenges. However I love to share my copying, inspiration or whatever you want to call it as it is so good to get a call from someone to say how thrilled they were with the handmade project.
We can get ideas from anywhere. I find myself looking at lots of things and thinking 'ooo that would be a good colour combo' or ' that would work well as a layout'. The trick is to enjoy your crafting and have fun.
So get making they are all works of art by YOU!!!Frustrating thing with this card is most of the products used to create detail are not in the current UK catalogues. Hopefully some will be in the new one in the Autumn. Have fun creating this weekend if you're not out enjoying the sunshine.

Hugs
