End of term - Hooray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The last couple of weeks have been mega busy with swimming galas, music concerts, sports days, plays and discos/sleepovers. I just don't know where my time has gone, but I have managed to craft and have finally managed to catch some sunshine at the same time as having time to take photos to show you some of the cute bags and notelets that I've made for my kids to take in to thank their teachers. Olivia has made her own thank you cards and I will try to photograph them tonight or first thing to show you. I will also photograph the cute card that I was given by Charlie at the 'Thank you Mummy Helpers' assembly that I attended today.

These cute bags are made by just folding a piece of designer series paper sized 12'' x 8'' and adding a topper. I will come back soon with some intructions. I thought the teachers might like a change from chocolates!

I'll leave it at that for now as I need to tidy up from the builders that have been fixing our roof, ready for the window chaps arriving on Monday to sort out our window problem, then for the builder to return for a bit more roof work Tuesday and I guess I'll then have the joy of the decorator Norman, who I think I terrified the last time he and his team were here. One of the guys left the back door and gate open. I asked them not to as our dog, as you've seen below is beautiful, is also old and I couldn't bear to see her die on the road outside. However he did it again and I was not impressed. I'm afraid I said " If my dog dies on that road because you left the gate open I will have no hesitation in shooting you!" My mum kindly added "Yes be careful she loves the dog more than the children!"
Of course I wouldn't shoot anyone and I do love my children, but the decorator doesn't know our sense of humour and you can see where trepidation may have crept in! Anyway the dog soldiers on and the gate gets shut and hopefully Norman and his team will return!
Waffle over and back soon with pics I've promised and more samples to share.
Thanks for checking in!
Hugs
