Grown Up time !!! Ahhhhhhh........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The week before last DH and I were lucky enough to have a week on our own. The children went to stay with my parents for a week, yes a whole week! We had some chores to do, but before we started we took ourselves off to Derbyshire for a couple of nights and stayed in Baslow Hall where we dined in the Michelin starred restaurant Fischers. It was to die for......
To walk off dinner from the previous evening before we returned for our second gourmet dinner, greedy I know but as I already said to die for......., we visited Haddon Hall not far from Bakewell. This is where much of the recent adaptation of Jane Eyre was filmed and also parts of The Other Boelyn Girl. It was very beautiful and here are a few shots of it.

It was all very relaxing and very pleasant. We returned home feeling slightly more in the mood to do the chores, but slightly too relaxed! However we got a few things done and then went on to collect the children to go off on our summer hols on the Isle of Wight. Some pics from there soon.
