6x6 Double page Convention Swap

Not only did I need to make swaps for convention I also volunteered for a swap of scrapbook pages. This is something I haven't done a lot and so I thought that a selection of pages would be good to show to folk at classes and workshops. This is what I put together with what I thought was a rather appropriate subject!!!! The photos aren't great because as I type this today (3Nov) the weather is awful and the light even worse and so photo taking isn't great. I really must invest in a photo cube. If only Martin read my blog he might think ' oo good idea for Zoë's Christmas present!" Alternatively I need to chase my lovely customer Paul who knows how I can make one!!!!!!!!!!

Now back to the pages and the ingredients

Cardstock - basic black, whisper white, pink passion

Inks - versamark, pink passion, tempting turquoise, old olive

Stamp sets - Good Friend, Just Perfect Alphabet, School Book Serif Numbers

Ribbon - Old Olive stripe grosgrain

Punches - 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 & 13/8 circles

White embossing powder

paper trimmer

Sunny Day Simply Scrappin' Kit for DSP

I'm really pleased with how it turned out and I tried to use colours similar to the convention logos so that folk can add photos after our fun weekend in Frankfurt and look back with fond memories.

I know that right now I'm typing this, but by the time you read it I'll be having a fab time doing make and takes and learning all sorts of new tricks. I will have attended Momento Mall too! This is where we can view items with Stampin'Up! patterns on them like brollies and keyrings and all sorts of goodies. When we get home we are supposed to be able to order them. I just may treat a few people!!!

I will also have been to the awards dinner which for some will be really rewarding as they will receive lots of well earned prizes. I may get one if I've calculated correctly and for that I thank you all for being fabulous supporters of my little business and also my team of demonstrators who all do their bit to support me as I try to for them. Unfortunately due to family commitments they can't join me this time, but I shall bring back lots of news and swaps for them and lots more I'm sure.

Hope you are having great weekend. Enjoy the fireworks!!!!!

Hugs Zx
