So much to tell you......!

Happy Monday one and all. I hope you had a great weekend. Ours was equally busy and special. On Saturday Martin and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary. As I'm sure many of you will appreciate we celebrated in the usual way taxi-ing children to numerous events and supporting them in their activities. Sound familiar!!!! Yes.... Olivia was in a production at the Red Lion Theatre's 21st anniversary and of course we went along to the matinee performance on Saturday. Dinner was very naughtily eaten watching the new series of 'Merlin' and Sunday I put on my not very often seen Baking Hat and along with the children we decided to produce something that looked and tasted vaguely reasonable as our contribution for tea at the annual village treasure hunt.

My super dooper anniversary flowers in colours of my wedding bouquet. Fabby surprise or what!!!!!
I'm so lucky!
Here are our cookies, which I'm honoured to say went down extremely well.

Remarkably we were runners up in both the childrens and grown ups treasure hunts and therefore won these very fresh eggs as our prize. The Vicar of Dibley's got nothing on us in sleepy Lincolnshire!!!!!!!!!!

A great afternoon, soaked in sunshine, trotting around the village and it's quirky little lanes and farm yard hunting for at times excessively cryptic clues. It's really pleasant to bring the village together for an inexpensive session of fun. Thanks to David, Rose and Mick for organising such a cheery event.
Now at the top of my post is a card from one of my customers, Becky. A lovely card with super layout and colour combo. It and others that I receive on a regular basis from my customers got me thinking. I know I've put many of these on my blog already, but I thought it would be more satisfying for the senders if their work was showcased for the world on a dedicated blog. We all have our own style and we all have days when our mojo leaves us and so I thought that a gallery blog may help everyone to develop their own style further and find some mojo on the days when it's up and gone!!! If you have any questions about any of the cards and want to know how they have achieved certain layouts, effects or colours... just email me and I'll find out.

Great idea, but what should I call this gallery? I thought and I thought and then I forgot!!!! No not really. I'm just hopeless at that catchy, gimmicky stuff of strap lines and fun names and so I asked the children. Mistake or inspired I don't know, but they came up with 'The Stamping Hamster Gallery' . Ridiculous was my first thought and also thought it would drive me mad with Olivia wanting a small furry critter for a pet. I thought it would give her the opportunity to witter about it even more!!! BUT I know you think I'm mad; it has grown on me probably like a fungus would, but for want of something better I think it's going to stick.

You will soon be able to find inspiration and your mojo on my new gallery blog to be set up by me for you. At least it's a title that will bring a smile to your face so it can't be all bad, can it??????

Finally a couple of notices. The last chance list and mini catalogue are still available while stocks last. The mini catalogue will not be available after the end of this month and so it's time to order that set you've wanted since the mini launched in April. Some items are in the new catalogue, but many didn't make it so don't miss out. Shipping is only £3.95 delivered to your door.

There is one place left on the techniques club starting in January. Please email me for more info.

That's it for now, but back soon to launch 'The Stamping Hamster Gallery'.
Hugs Z x
