Time Flies

I'm a bit behind the curve on blogging as life has been more than a little hectic with lots of Stampin' Up! parties, classes and just ordinary life!!!!!
Back in June Olivia went on a residential trip to Scarborough with school and I made her a card and popped it in her reading book knowing that she'd find it sooner or later. She was thrilled and so she was somewhat surprised when she thanked me for the card to wish her good luck with her first ever viola exam and I just looked blankly at her. Some would say no change there then, but I was perplexed. It turns out that my darling hubby had snuck into my craft room at 1am to make her a card. You can see it above along with the inside which he decorated with a retired US stamp set, stamping a 'pink' violin. Olivia thought it was fantastic and I have to say I was shocked. Just shows that anyone can stamp and get results, even men!!!
Since then we've been to sports days, summer concerts, swimming galas and a ball with Monnie and Peter which was so much fun. Mon and I giggled and gossiped all night. Her hubby Peter made me laugh as he referred to stamping/crafting as a virus not because we all get adicted to it but, because it SPREADS!!! I guess he's right, but it's a good virus bringing friendship, laughter, sharing and creative fun to all.
I'll be back soon with another tutorial.
Happy crafting Zx

Sounds like your hubby got the virus too then! How sweet. What lovely cards.
