Stampin' Up! Convention 2010 at Addington Palace

Smiley people having fun at the Awards!!!

And so to Addington Palace we all came down a driveway lined with the Stampin' Up! 2010 Convention Theme flags.  'SHARE WHAT YOU LOVE! was the theme of the weekend and we certainly shared......!

We shared friendship with new people as well as lovely people that we already knew here for example are  my lovely friends Bekka (on the right) a UK demo from Dunstable and Lisa who is a German demo currently based near Hamburg.  Last year Lisa was heavily pregnant and so this year it was great to hear about her beautiful baby Pippa and hear about the trials and tribulations of having 2 children under 2!!! Her eldest daughter Bianca has found sharing much more of a struggle than we did this past weekend.

This is Elaine, my demo friend from Aberdeen,  in the main hall waiting in line for momento mall to buy this

isn't it a fabulous tote.  Sadly when I got to the front of the line they had sold out, but I should be getting one soon so stand by for a bit of showing off.

We also shared gifts with room mates, team members and friends. Here is the mug that I gave to Bee from downline Emma's team.  With Emma herself I shared a mug and some other goodies in this elegant gift box made with cherry cobbler cardstock and the lush rich razzleberry stripe grosgrain ribbon.
Shelli, the CEO of Stampin' Up! shared her usual box full of wonderful inspirational projects and as a thank you I presented her with a gift for her and her husband Sterling.
A his and hers!!!

'Can I open it now?' she said
'Of course!' I replied

In case you can't read it the mug says 'I'D RATHER BE STAMPING'  and although she didn't open Sterling's she asked what it said.  His was the same mug printed in blue, but as she confirmed he is incredibly supportive of her and the Company, but doesn't stamp so his said
'I'D RATHER NOT BE STAMPING'

There's lots more to come so standby.
Hugs Zx
