Winding up the year!

As 2010 draws to a close I thought I'd share a few of our pics from the festive season.  The children and I loved making our gingerbread house, but as you can see the tree didn't come out of the box well......!!!!

Our tree we cut from the garden and is one that we planted some 12 years ago and was almost too big, but with a snip and a chop or two it fitted in nicely and we love decorating it with ornaments with special memories many collected from our trips to the US.
In the drama club Christmas show Charlie was not impressed to be Joseph.  He would have preferred to be Dan the Donkey and I think Mary would have rather been someone else too!!!!!

Olivia sang carols and recited 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.  It brought a tear or two of proudness to my eye, but don't tell her or she'll get big headed!
Martin took preventative action for chopping the onions for the turkey stuffing.

And me...?????? Well I just stayed on the right side of the camera!!

Here's hoping you've all had a good one and here's a wish for a very Happy New Year.  Roll on 2011 and look out for SALE-A-BRATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back very soon.
Hugs Zx
