For Pamela

stampin up demsontrator zoe tant

It's been an odd week here with some highs and some very lows!  On Thursday I was invited to help at a local secondary school with mock interviews for 14/15 year olds who had applied for work experience with various employers in the local area.  As interviewers we were tasked with being the employer and asking them questions that they might expect to be asked at real interviews.  One question was 'How would your friends describe you?'  The answers were along a similar line of friendly, helpful and kind, but one girl when we then asked 'If we asked your friends what would annoy them about you'  she replied 'Well I'm high maintenance and I don't shop at places like Primark!'  My colleague and I looked at each other, looked ourselves up and down wondering if we were wearing our Primarni specials!!
On a low side of the week, 5 minutes before I left for the interviews I received a call from one of our dearest friends to say that his wife had passed away in the night.  Naturally the poor man is in bits.  Pamela was one of the nicest people you could ever have the pleasure of meeting and I dedicate my card today to her, as she loved everyone and all her actions and words were 'from the heart'.  When I first saw the challenge I thought of the monsters stamp set I have and was going to use that, but my lovely friend Elaine in Scotland beat me to it.  Maybe that was fate, because something then took me to these stamps and the sentiment and made me think of Pam.  To Pamela a lovely lady.

Thanks for visiting today.
