Christmas Card Club Finale for 2012

Christmas Stocking Card
Our last challenge for the Christmas Card Club was set by Clare who decided we should make anything but a square card.  It's taken me a while, but I've finally made my card and used the cute Holiday Stocking die.  To make sure I had a fold I used a piece of whisper white cardstock 6" x 12" folded it in half but made sure the fold line was just below the top of the stocking on the die to maintain the fold.  The toe, heel and stocking top have been embossed in the Stampin' Up! Petals a Plenty embossing folder to add texture and I've added rhinestones to for some Christmas sparkle.  My sentiment is from Greetings of the Season which has proved to be a very popular purchase for many this year.

I'm also sharing a picture sent to me by a customer who bought a kit to make this bunting with her children.  I think they did a great job and it looks very festive on their stairs.  Well done Naomi and  Sam with your crafting!!!

A beautiful alternative to an ordinary card. I have resisted from buying the die up until now, I think I may have been persuaded ....

Love this folded stocking card. You have done a great job without the benefit of design paper. Love the embossed toe, heel and trim...It looks fab!
