Perfectly Penned Birthday Wishes!

As a demonstrator for Stampin' Up! it is always nice to make a card for someone special especially when you have all the supplies to hand.  This is for a special friend who shortly celebrates her birthday.  She loves bright colours and so I hope when this arrives she'll love this too!

I've used the on trend chalkboard technique for the sentiment which is the main focus and have then embellished it with rhinestones and a builder brad bring through the colours from the strip of dsp which is from one of my favourite packs at the moment Sunshine and Sprinkles.  Let face it we certainly need something to brighten the days and give a warm glow with the cold winds that continue to surround us.  I'm also loving the  organza ribbons that are part of this product suite and I've used the fork bow technique to make a sweet delicate little bow.  Whenever I use this type of bow I think of my lovely customer Marj, who when I showed her how to do it suggested that to make a bigger bow she'd get Gerry, her husband to clean up the garden fork! I'm still waiting to see that 'big bow' Marj and can picture Gerry's face!

Have a great day everyone!

Warm hugs Zx

Colour combo
Daffodil delight, melon mambo, marina mist, pacific point, basic grey, lucky limeade, basic black and whisper white.
