I've had a great week so far including a fun online card club class and team craft and chat. For both I made these cards sharing simple layouts adding simple stamping and simple embellishments to make them even more effective. For the team event I asked my team members to cut their own choice of colour combos to a certain recipe of sizes and use a stamp set and inks to coordinate. It was awesome to see how different the designs were by just changing the colours and stamps. Of course there were some other variations as folk added their own twists which is always fun too as you get lots of ideas.
Using the Beautiful Autumn stamp set and coordinating punches I went for a twist on colour from the usual autumn colours and used Rococo Rose, Blackberry Bliss and Rich Razzleberry or as one of my ladies calls it 'Razzle Dazzle' . Mixing strips of card and stamping then cutting strips you can use up off cuts of card as well as create some fun colour block back grounds.
On this one I used Versamark ink to stamp a tone on tone background and create a subtle addition of stamping. The Cinnamon Cider ribbon also added a splash of colour to highlight the sentiment and I love the copper Star Designer Elements for a touch of lux. Add in some embossing of matt layers and there's lots of interesting texture.
On the last card I used all the inks to stamp different elements of the set and used two card colours for the acorn using just a partial punch of the whole acorn to add the cup in a different colour. The ribbon edging also adds more detail along the bottom of the sentiment and is a good way to use odd ends cut from over exuberant bows.
I'm also grateful to my hubby for the wood disks that I'm using for some photos at the moment which work so well with this stamp set.
Here are a couple of the team pictures. Remember they didn't know what they would be doing with the bits of cut card and their chosen set, but I love how theirs turned out and challenge you to try these layouts with your choice of colour and stamps.
Linda used Dove of Hope stamp set with Highland Heather, Pool Party and Blackberry Bliss.
Lauren used Peace and Joy stamp set with Petal Pink, Just Jade and Cinnamon Cider.
Thanks for visiting today and be sure to join me on Sunday for Christmas Card Club shares where we are focusing on Christmas sentiments.

Awesome colourways. Love each one but my favourite is your first set. Love that rich colouring. Hugs Mrs A.
Thank you Valery Ann. I like the richness too, but I was rather taken by the others which I want to try out, particularly Lauren's as she said she happened to see an image in Mollie Makes and decided to give the colour a go and I am going to try too. Zoe x
What lovely sets of cards from you all. I love the rich tones you have used for your set, I might try this technique to use up some of my off cuts, that pile seems to be growing ever larger but I can't throw any away, lol.

The layouts are awesome. Since you all used different stamp sets it’s easy to see how versatile the layouts are. I really love using sketches as inspiration for my cards. Great job!
