New at SU blog hop - Friendly Hello Saleabration Stampin' Up!

Hi and welcome to my first time in the New at SU blog hop with fellow global demonstrators.  We are sharing new products, stamps and designs with you on a monthly basis and this month it is a big share of lots of Saleabration ideas for you to enjoy.  You've arrived from Anke's blog. I love her project, don't you!

If you haven't been to my blog before, I'm Zoe a Stampin' Up! demonstrator based in the UK in Lincolnshire.  Welcome to my blog and please do say hi in the comments below each time you visit and tell me if you like the new stamp set, dies or colours.  Don't forget to go through the hop to see all the other fabulous inspiration on offer with all the other hop members. 

Today my share is a card made using the Level Two Saleabration reward called Friendly Hello which includes a beautiful stamp set and some very pretty coordinating papers.  I've also used the Sunshine and Rainbow Papers to stamp on for the flowers and leaves. 

I started my design by using one of the annual Stampin' Up! catalogue masks to create the background and belly band by adding Bermuda Bay ink to first white card and then tone on tone onto Bermuda Bay.  

I embossed the flowers and stamped leaves on to the rainbow papers and also stamped some leaves directly onto my stencilled/masked background.  I've fussy cut the flowers and additional leaves and adhered them to my card before adding the belly band and stamped sentiment.  

It's an easy card to do but might take a little time, but you could use lots of different colour combos to make it suit your recipient. 

 

The finishing touch is a couple of Stampin' Up! new Brushed Brass Butterflies to add a little touch of gold.
