If you are looking for an alternative wedding bouquet why not look at the Paper Florist Dies from Stampin' Up! and create your own.
I used coloured and white card to die cut the flower pieces and then used floristry wire and a hot glue gun to create each flower. Some of the coloured card I created myself by adding water colour washes to white card and allowing them to dry before either adding more colour or die cutting petals and leaves.
The dies allow you to create all sorts of flowers and you can do what you want with them. I also stamped splatters onto some of the petals and dipped the stamen centres into ink pads to add different colours and tones. I also used blending brushes to colour some white petals and some were simply cut from coloured card.
They are all wired and positioned in a piece of oasis which is in a floristry bottle neck holder that I bought many years ago.
I loved creating this and had so much fun doing it. The only issue is the wine bottle needs to be full to make sure the display doesn't fall over ! Good reason to buy another I guess.
This project was featured on my stand at a recent craft show at the National Motorcycle Museum near to the NEC at Birmingham. Show attendees joined me to make their own make and take using the same dies but on a card showing the versatility of the dies.
