It's been stormy here the last couple of days and so seems a little out of place to share a pretty gardening card with pretty flowers, but I hope it cheers you up and warms your heart on this cold and blustery day.
I made this card for a class but also to show my team that by following a previously scene layout you can create lots of cards that appear to be different depending upon the materials you use. For mine I've used a new online exclusive stamp and die set called Garden Meadows. I stamped tone on tone for the background stripe using the hand fork and rake tool stamps. I've added a happy birthday from the same set and then stamped on white card the pretty wheelbarrow full of gorgeous flowers which I've coloured simply with alcohol markers.
A touch of trim continues that garden theme as it is like garden twine, but pretty and some sparkly silver sequins as you know I like my bling. The two sections of paper are from the fabulously mixed, but all usable, Delightfully Eclectic paper stack which includes 48 sheets of 12 x 12" papers. There are 4 of each of 12 double sided designs. You can do so much with DSP like this. The colours in this design include Petal Pink and Crushed Curry. I coloured with blends in Lemon Lime Twist, Petal Pink, Calypso Coral and Lemon Lolly. So happy with the result.
The best things is that many of these products are included in the Stampin' Up! seasonal sale on today through to Thursday night. Save up to 20% on papers, pens and ink and more. Just click on the link to see all the offers in one easy place HERE
