Stampin' Up! Bloomin Marvellous

Stampin' Up! Saleabration Set Bloomin' Marvellous

Do you like the Bloomin' Marvellous stamp set?  I think it's really cute and it's easy to make simple cards like this with it along with the Sycamore Street designer series paper and ribbon.  I copied the layout from a card I received from another demonstrator as a swap at a Stampin' Up! event.  As demonstrators we attend fun events where one of the highlights is meeting up with old friends and making new friends whilst we swap card fronts and ideas that way you are never short of ideas because it's all about 'casing' i.e. copy and sharing ideas.  If you'd like to know more about joining our happy crowd to get more out of your crafting and do it cheaper look at my Join Stampin' Up! page or contact me for more details or with any questions you may have.  An added bonus if you join now is that you'll 25% more product in your kit for the same price as the normal starter kit.  You can choose what goes in it and you get catalogues etc on top!

Now in my last post for Christmas Card Club some of you asked to see the volcano Olivia made for her geography project and so here some pictures.

Itty Bitty Banners Stamps and framelits Stampin' Up

She used a cake base and covered it with roll out icing. To make the lava stand out she painted it with melted strawberry jelly and added 'crunchie' chips to look like lava lumps in melting mass!  I cut out some bitty banners for her to label it and she added a plume of dust and smoke inside which she drew a volcano cross section showing all the layers inside it and explained more about her labels.
She gets the grade Thursday so fingers crossed.

Here's to a good week. Zx

Bloomin' Marvellous from Stampin' Up!

SAB Stampin' Up! Stamp Set Bloomin' Marvellous
 Hi friends,
I've had a lovely week so far sharing crafting with some super ladies.  I shared some fun techniques with Christine and Pam in a private class which was especially nice as Christine is just starting out on her paper craft journey and it was great to share her excitement.  Today I've shared the new SS13 catalogue products with Sue and all her friends at a fun and busy party with a delicious lunch generously provided by Sue.  I shared a version of this cute gift box with them and gave a finished version to Sue full of lovely accessories to thank her for her warm welcome.
I had also made this gift box for Olivia's friend Lauren who saw some earrings in the high street just before Christmas and I promised I would make some for her using Stampin' Up! In Color Dahlias.

They're so easy to make, are prettier than the ones in the shop and of course they are handmade making them more special.  I've heard they were very well received!
The box itself was shared with me by my fellow demo friend Moira, who's based in France.  I hope I've done her box justice.  It's decorated with the woodgrain background stamp and also pretty flowers from the SAB free set Bloomin' Marvellous.  You can see more of the stamp set on my page about Sale-a-bration gifts.

I hope your week is progressing well and if not I hope it picks up for the weekend.
More soon.
