Stampin' Up! UK Cards for Keeps Celebrity Cards Auction

  

I made this card for the Stampin' Up! Cards for Keeps demo competition.  It makes me smile when I look at this cute octopus.  It uses the retiring set Sea Street which is super for kids and adults.  If you like it remember it's only available until the end of the month and then it will be gone for good.

I also want to share this stunning card by Stampin' Up! demo Joanne Penney who was the winner of the Stampin' Up! demo competition and it's not difficult to see why her card was chosen to be showcased and sold alongside the celebrities cards in the auction on ebay this week.  

Please do share the details of the Cards for Keeps auction which ends on Friday as all money raised will go to Coram which is the oldest Children's charity in the UK.  There are some amazing celebrity cards so do please take a look and maybe place a bid knowing that if you win the auction you'll have an amazing piece of artwork or memorabilia and your heart can smile knowing that you've helped UK children worse off than yourself.

Stampin' Up! UK Cards for Keeps in aid of Coram

It's coincidental that Twiggy and I have used similar colours on our cards that I'm sharing with you.  I've said goodbye to mine as March 31st saw the end of Sale-a-bration for this year and I wanted one final look at Petal Parade with bright colours and my usual bit of bling in the form of the ever popular silver glimmer paper and silver ribbon. 

Twiggy's card has been kindly made for a very good reason too and far better reason than mine. She was invited by Stampin' Up! UK to make a card for their Cards for Keeps charity auction in aid of Coram, the oldest children's charity in the UK.  Celebrities have been invited from all different backgrounds from actors and actresses to children's authors to famous painters.  Their cards are on display on the Cards for Keeps pinterest board and will be auctioned on ebay in early May. 

My lovely customer Sue has good reason to be pleased to support this charity as her great grandmother benefitted from care and upbringing in a CORAM home.  I hope you too will share the details of this great charity and wonderful auction to continue to help UK children with the profits from the auction.  If you have a pinterest site please pin and share your favourite celebrity cards either by pinning from my blog or the Cards for Keeps boards.  Let everyone know about the auction and the signed celebrity cards with their own special messages.  Twiggy's is a simple message, but so so true. Maybe you can help the children in CORAM's care to follow their dreams.
