Birthday cards for the boys!!

We recently joined a friend in celebrating his 60th (oh my that makes me sound old!) He loves to cycle and rather more seriously than this image suggests, but I thought it was just right for him.  The stamp is from the Stampin' Up! UK annual catalogue and is from the hostess set called Life's Adventure and cycling can certainly be one of those adventure's depending upon how and where you do it!

You can also use any colour combo you want for a card like this and mine is cajun craze, crushed curry and elegant eggplant.  It's really simple, but by adding some thick bakers twine, an essential hardware clip and some designer series paper you can 'wow' it up and provide a really nice card.

I'm never sure whether folk appreciate their age on a card, but I guess at least this doesn't have a slightly jokey verging on offensive comment like 'Look how old you are!'

Do you mind your age on card?

More soon. Zx

Stampin' Up! UK presents Life's Adventures as a gift to party hosts!!!

Stampin' Up! UK Life's Adventure Hostess Set
Recently one of my team moved house and so I used some of our wonderful new products to make her a card to wish her luck in her new home.  Work of Art is a very decorative stamp set in the new annual Stampin' Up! UK catalogue and I used it here with marina mist, pool party and wild wasabi  to create a fun background for my Life's Adventure hostess set house which I stamped with the new memento ink pad in tuxedo black and some of my new blend ability pens in old olive, coastal cabana and cherry cobbler.  I carefully cut out the house and raised it with stampin' dimensionals and then added a sentiment from an old retired set that I can't quite yet part with called Sincere Salutations.

Now the new annual catalogue has many of us hooked and many of us with growing wish lists each time we browse through the pages, but I have to say I think my lovely teamie and friend Ros has it sorted. She recently took her catty on holiday to drool over on the plane whilst drinking champagne.
I love her style and think it's one I should adopt!

Still dragging your heels hoping to not have a wish list.............. give up because you know you want to get your own copy. Email to get your hands on one or look in my Stampin' Up! UK online shop where you can shop 24/7.

Back soon.
