Mosaic Madness Home Decor from Stampin' Up!

Many people worry about where they should get their ideas for crafting and it often puts some folk off even trying, but home decor is easy when you cheat or as the correct word is CASE (copy and share) a project from the new Stampin' Up! catalogue. I've almost entirely copied this one from page 123.  It was so easy to make and looks fab hung up on the wall or perched on a garden chair!! 

Mosaic Madness Stamp Set and Mosaic punch is all it took along with the Quartrefancy Specialty Papers, some glimmer paper and some gorgeous ink colours like pool party, daffodil delight and pumpkin pie.

Another Mosaic Sneak Peek!

I couldn't resist adding bling and bright colours to this card for Olivia's birthday yesterday.  She's a girly girl and very fashion conscious so I wanted it to be colourful and appeal to her of course.  She loved it and it was really simple to make.  The upcoming catalogue will host lots of new stamp sets, punches and embossing folders and this card shows a small sample. 

I've also used the apothecary accents framelits to die cut the frame from Memorable Moments, but I hand cut the age and 'th' from the same set.  A simple strip of silver glimmer paper and some mixed sized rhinestones added the sparkle to the colour scheme of whisper white, melon mambo, tangerine tango and pretty in pink. 

I'm pleased to say it achieved a 'wow' on a very special day. 

Our celebrations continue with a fancy afternoon tea out over the weekend.

Sneak Peek from Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue

Isn't it amazing that we've now had two bank holiday weekends with sunshine!  We've had a great weekend.  I spent Sunday with my lovely Mum on my Stampin' Up! stand at the Sincerely Yours Paper craft Show at Lincoln Showground. Thank you to all the lovely people who stopped by to say hello.  It's great to meet new people and also to catch up with friends.  I hope you all had a super day. 
Yesterday we spent the day in the garden catching up with some of those essential gardening chores and with my parents help our garden is beginning to look like a garden again and less of a jungle.  My dad even planted some seeds to get us going again in the veggie patch. 

Today of course half-term continues, but the weather doesn't so we've kept ourselves busy indoors and I now have this card to share with you which is my card for Michelle.  I'm in a card share group and each month we make a card for a member of the group and post it to them. We also send cards to whoever has a birthday so this month I've been very lucky to receive lots of beautiful handmade cards for which I am very grateful as they are all gorgeous. 

This card is also a sneak peek of things to come in our new annual catalogue. It arrives on 2 July and I can't wait to a) see it and b) share it with you.  I was lucky enough to win this stamp set in prize patrol at our recent regional training event.  Demonstrators love these events as there's lots of inspiration to be gained from each other and usually lots of prizes.  If you'd like to be part of the fun and get 20% minimum discount off your crafting purchases then consider contacting me about joining my team.  In the meantime watch out for our retiring list appearing on 31 May.  Items on this list are only available until 1 July or while stocks last so don't miss out on that punch or stamp set that you've been looking at recently.
