Christmas Card Club - Ornament Keepsakes

Stampin' Up! Ornament Keepsake Stamps and Framelits

Oh man I'm so behind with my Christmas Card Club, but I am really having a great time with a special project that I'm doing and also a trip away this weekend with Olivia. We're having a girlie weekend and I'm really excited.
So I'm finally sharing with you my card for Sylvie's challenge to use silver and one other colour with white being an admissable neutral.  I loved the ornament keepsake bundle that Stampin' Up! offered in the AW collection.  You may remember that many folk made beautiful ornaments with the set as well as decorating cards.
Here it looks lovely in not quite navy and silver. I just love silver glimmer paper and if anyone from Stampin' Up! is listening please keep it in the new catalogue coming our way in July!!!!!
Don't forget to stop by the other ladies in the club for inspiration, but you made need to scroll back as this challenge was due almost a fortnight ago.  There's a new challenge on Sunday and I do have that ready to share so pop back soon.
Have a fabby weekend and if it's wet you have the perfect excuse for crafting!!!!

ps please note that not quite navy will be retiring so if you want to top up on products in this colour do contact me or your demo soon.

Pretty Stampin' Up! Ornaments

stampin' up! ornament keepsake bundle
It's so easy to make and yet looks like you've spent hours handcrafting a beautiful ornament for friends and family to adorn their Christmas tree or walls.  All you need is the ornament bundle and a hot glue gun and you'll find you can make all sorts of pretty decorations.  Of course the best part is you can make them in the colours you want rather than searching everywhere to find the right colour to match your decorations.

If you think you need a little help in making one, then join me on 28 November to learn how to make one just like this.  Buy the bundle at the class or order £35 or more and the class is free.  There will be a morning and evening session so just contact me to book your place.

Additionally if you buy the Candlelight Christmas Papers along with your bundle you'll receive a paper piercing pack free.   Looking forward to sharing this class with some of you next week.

stampin up ornament keepsake bundle with perfectly penned
I'm so excited that Stampin' Up! are giving away so many freebies this month including the 'Festive' paper-piercing pack on page 30 of the Stampin' Up! AW12 seasonal catalogue.  Get this neat accessory free when you buy the ornament keepsake stamp set p3 and the candlelight christmas specialty papers p4 with or without the holiday ornaments framelit dies p3.  Remember this stamping scene post where I told you how you could get your hands on free Stampin' Up! ink pads.
You might think that the framelits are just for Christmas, but look at the card above and spot how you can tweak them very simply to make other cards throughout the year.  Accompany them with sentiment sets like perfectly penned which includes the sentiments

To add texture and design to your vases you could use the Stampin' Up! adorning accents embossing folders, bakers twine or rhinestones.
The spray of delicate flowers are from hopeful thoughts.

Have a great day and come back soon to find out more about other freebies!
