Hardwood with Flower Shop for Stampin’ Up! thanks

thinlit card flower shop stampin up

I haven't used my thinlits very much, but finally got them out recently to share them at one of my parties with the lovely guests of Jeanne, my hostess.  I made this card for Jeanne to thank her for hosting a Stampin' Up! party to go with a the gift I made for her.  It worked really well with the ever so popular Hardwood background stamp and the extremely popular Petite Petals and Flower Shop bundles.  The flowers from each stamp set fit together perfectly to make bigger and even more interesting flowers for your projects.

I stamped the crumb cake card stock before using my thinlit die to cut my card base.  I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to make sure that the woodgrain appeared all over the front of my card.  I love the accent framelits that are part of the thinlit package as they bring a modern twist to your project especially here with the abbreviated thanks!!

I hope you all have lovely restful plans for the Easter weekend and wish you sunshine and a happy weekend.

By combining background stamps, cardstock and accessories with Sale-a-bration sets you can create simple but elegant cards. The En Francais background stamp is basically french script that looks attractive wherever you use it. Stamped here in chocolate chip onto kraft cardstock it subtly gives depth to this card and adds interest. The pumpkin pie stamped frame from SAB set Vintage labels punches out really well with the scallop circle punch and is just the right size in the middle to set off one of our filigree brads with a rhinestone fire centre. The sentiment is also from Vintage labels and makes a quick and easy birthday card for a lady or gent depending on your colour combo.
Remember that Sale-a-bration sets are only available for a limited period and will not appear in future catalogues so if you like them make sure you make a qualifying purchase before the end of February.
You can earn these sets as a hostess, customer or as a demonstrator.
