Lovely Carol set our challenge this fortnight and it was to make the sentiment the focus. We made this card at my monthly card club this week and even though it is very different from the normal traditional Christmas card it went down very well and the ladies really liked the copper foil card with basic black, smoky slate and basic grey. I was inspired by a copper card I saw made by Anja Luft. She used similar colours but was brave enough to heat emboss in copper powder onto the foil.
My focal sentiment is from the Stampin' Up! stamp set Forever Evergreen which coordinates with the Forever Evergreen Project kit to make 3 very cute and much bigger than you imagine Christmas Trees. We had fun at another class making these.
Don't forget to stop by the other ladies in our Christmas Card Club for lots of inspiration.
I hope you are having a good Sunday. I'm prepping for a fab Stampin' Up! party tomorrow and one of my Christmas Stamp a Stacks on Tuesday so busy busy.
The sun is now shining after all the rain this morning so hopefully a brighter end to our weekend. Hope it is good with you too!
More soon. Zx
PS if you are going to Sincerely Yours Portsmouth next Sunday do come and see Olivia and I on our Stampin' Up! stand.
