Cheers to You!

This is a fun card that I found on a US demonstrators blog, whose details I can't put my finger on at the moment, but will update when I find it. She used glossy white cardstock, but as we don't have it at the moment I've used whisper white. I've stamped the Martini glass over the card using a versamark pad and embossed it with clear embossing powder and a heat gun. I've then used a sponge dauber to gently add colour to each image. This is called colour resist, because the embossing stops the colour getting to the cardstock. To highlight the olive I've used a real red marker and I've mounted the whole thing on real red and onto an old olive card blank. Using punches I've made an olive which I've pierced with a cocktail stick. I removed the sharp ends once it was in place. I've added a happy birthday and a cheers to you banner attached with gold brads. It's a fun card for guys (the 007s amongst you) and girls.
Thanks for visiting.
