Sadly my father-in-law passed away in early Spring. Looking through photographs recently to do some scrapbooking at a class I came upon this picture of him with hubby. My father-in-law wasn't keen to be photographed, but this is a great shot and one I had forgotten that we had. I decided to make a scrapbook page and found inspiration from the Jo (scrapbookparty) who showed on her blog how you can build up from a 6"x6" page to A4 and then onto a 12"x12" page. It's fairly easy to see how I built this up and I took on some of Jo's decorative ideas also. I've left the lines blank at the moment for hubby to put in whatever words he'd like. I think we shall then get it framed rather than put it away in an album.
It will be a nice picture to add to our family wall for the children to remember 'Pops'.
I was never keen to scrapbook before, but I'm beginning to get hooked on making special pages like this one that can hold special memories.
If I can do it so can you. So why not have a go!
