Kissing with a twist

At last it's POETS day again and for those that don't know what it is means finish early tomorrow's Saturday. I let you work out the exact words yourself with the letters involved!!!!! I said I'd be back with more about kissing and here is the tutorial. It's kissing with a twist this time which is very similar to what you've already seen with kissing.

Start by inking your solid stamp and background stamp with ink. I've used Flower Accent from the mini and Rustic Rooster Level 2 Hostess sets. I also used different colours on each stamp, but you could use the same colour or just ink the background stamp. Place the solid stamp onto the background as shown above.

Now twist the solid stamp one quarter turn keeping it in contact with the background stamp.

Lift off your solid stamp and stamp your image. Wow look at this fantastic effect.

To create a finished card I huffed on my background stamp to moisten the ink and stamped it onto whisper white cardstock and created a two tone background. I then cut out my 'Twisted Kiss' image and popped it on the top with dimensionals and a half pearl from the Pretties kit. A little scoring and spiral punching added more texture and there's my finished card.
We tried this at one of my recent techniques clubs and some of the ladies cards can be seen by visiting The Stamping Hamster.
I think this is such a fab, easy technique with real wow appeal. If you'd like to learn more techniques then please contact me about my techniques clubs and virtual stamping clubs where you can learn new techniques and earn free products.
Off to enjoy the weekend.
Big Hugs
