A touch of red!

stampin up demonstrator zoe tant

Thanks for stopping by to see me and if you're on the ILWS blog hop a particular welcome and please scroll down to see my blog hop projects and find the link to the next step.

Over at Less is more today they've set a colour challenge of 'a touch of red'.  I so wanted to use this stamp, Motorcycle, when they had their masculine card challenge, but it was before the launch of the Stampin' Up !summer mini and so I was not allowed.  However today it's worked out well and now I can share it with you.  I've used cherry cobbler marker and cardstock for my touch of red and have added crystal effects with the tip of the paper piercer to give my motorcycle shine!  The image itself is stamped with Staz on to stop any bleeding with the crystal effects.

I also wanted to do one for the girls and this is so simple but striking.  I love Pocket Silhouettes as it's so easy to use. You can stamp it anywhere and it looks great. It's a fab set for beginners as you can't really go wrong.  My touch of red is real red grosgrain ribbon and a little reverse stamping inside.  On the cover the flowers are embossed in white using our craft whisper white ink pad.
There will be more MINI tasters with 4 ILWS blog hops where demos will be sharing with you some fabulous projects made with stash from the new mini. Why not take a peak! You can start with the post below.

Have a great weekend and I'll be back soon with more mini heaven.
Hugs Zx

Both of these are fabulous Zoe, but I think my favourite has to be the girly version, I love that little stamp set and on the black it looks exquisite!

ps - yep - Zac woke up but we didn't hear him (bedding and teddy bear hanging in conservatoire to dry as I type!) and Blake had a lie in of sorts, he was snuggled up with me after an early morning bottle!

Those cards are lovely. I especially like the way you have reversed the colour scheme on in the insert. Really dramatic.

Wow - I was bowled over by the bike, but then the girly one stole my heart. The white on black is brilliantly crisp and the red ribbon is a touch of genius - I just love it! Love the inside too. I think I need to find a stampin up party ;-)

These are both fab & I can't decide on my favourite! I think perhaps the black one as it's so striking. I made a card today with that motorbike stamp, it's ace and definitely a good one for bloke friendly cards!

I love both these cards Zoe...I can't pinpoint my favourite! I love the motorcycle one because it's so different for a guys' card, but I love the 'girly' one because it's so simple and striking.

Lovely cards Zoe.
Great minds think alike as I did exactly the same with the motorbike for Deans birthday card earlier in the week but, once the crystal effects had dried, I changed my mind and did the same but in green. I still have the red edition though...lol
Love the girlie one, I really must get this stamp set.

Both absolutely stunning! I used the motorcycle too and crystal effects (before I saw yours I promise!) - that stamp is just begging for shine! I really like the chalkboard effect white on black of the Pocket Silhouettes card too.

I'm a huge SU fan - going to another party tomorrow and I was thinking of buying the motorbike stamp for those "difficult" male cards on my list, and your fabulous card has just convinced me to go for it! Love your Girly card too - that may be another purchase tomorrow! Love your work. Hugs, Sylvia x
