And so Fr'o'nk's adventures in the Grand Hotel, Vienna continued. He awoke excitedly Friday morning knowing that he was heading out with many of his Stampin' Up! friends to tour Vienna atop a blue helmet on the lovely Jules' head. Segways were the transportation of the day. Here's the team who joined Fr'o'nk on his travels.
Third row down, second picture in is Charles, the segway tour guide. You'll note his gold, bullet helmet, he was the fastest segway driver in Vienna. The helmets are being sold to raise funds for the restoration of the beautiful Fine Art Museum. A percentage of the purchase price for each helmet is helping to restore the building to protect its valuable and historical art collections.
The tour took in the vintage ferris wheel in the Prater Park, an old fashioned amusement park featuring rides, shooting ranges, restaurants and beer halls.
The new Hofburg which today houses numerous museums and collections, the Spanish Riding School and the Austrian National Library.
The memorial to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-91) in the Burggaten.
Can you see Fr'o'nk?
Back soon with scenes of our very special gala evening.
