It's Hazel's turn to set our challenge and she set a fun one - Feature a creature - I really wanted to find something whacky but I'm sorry I settled on Rudolph. He's stamped in early espresso and framed with the oval designer embossing folder frame, but I've used the debossed side for a slightly different look. I've used markers to colour the doily and my spritzer tool to mask the smudge I made using the doily when it was still wet!!! I also used on of the needlepoint embossing folders to add some definition above my dsp. I've made an embellishment with cherry cobbler seam binding and a dahlia in gumball green. A simple sentiment is all I needed as Rudi says it all.
Thanks for a different challenge Hazel!
ps his nose is red with Stampin' Up! cherry cobbler dazzling details!

Oh what a gorgeous card, Zoe - the reindeer is looking so regal - great choice for my 'feature a creature' and thanks for linking for my CHNC challenge extra for May x
Love your coloured doily. I've coloured ribbon with promarkers but wouldn't have thought to do this. Great little Rudolph with his nose in the sir! Christine
Oops! That should have said his nose in the air! C

Just at Birmingham airport kiling a few hours ... Before flight back to Gib......
He's perfect Zoe - wacky is so last season - Rudi rules! Someone once said to me that little ink splodges and mistakes happen because a card needs an embellishment - mind you it always happens to me when I'm trying very hard to do a OLC and CAS card! Karen x
super cute!!! so glad you linked up with CHNC Extra this month

Love your design...like the doily just peeking out the edge of the image piece!
Lovely card! I woke up this morning, realising I have not made a single christmas card this year. Need to get started I guess.
