I mentioned in my 'dress up for a party' post that I had a special trip organised and that was to The Netherlands where I was invited to work on the Stampin' Up! stand at the Liebelle Zomerweek show. This is a huge show run by a dutch ladies magazine. The theme was 'Brazil' and was meant to have a Mardi Gras type feel, but the weather had other plans!!!!!!!
Here's some of the team that I shared the day with. Most were from The Netherlands. It was a really fun day and I enjoyed sharing time with them.
The day started well and was dry, but overcast when we arrived at 0815 for our briefing.
We had high hopes that we would be able to remove the right side of the tent, but the dry only lasted for an hour or so and the rain came.
Nonetheless we promoted Stampin' Up! and found lots of interested ladies who will hopefully become customers and downline in the not too distant future.
I stayed at the same hotel that I stayed at with Olivia and celebrated my birthday with a drink in the bar with Damir, the country manager for Stampin' Up! in the Netherlands. I even watched the football. Well done Chelsea!
I'm now back and almost recovered from the hectic trip and a lovely weekend with my family celebrating my birthday all over again!
Thank you to everyone who sent me cards, FB messages, gifts and emails.
I truly am a very lucky girl!
