Christmas Card Club - Stampin' Up! Holly Jolly Greetings

Stampin' Up! Holly Jolly Greetings

It's already our second Christmas Card Club and our challenge is to include a sleigh as requested by our challenger Maureen.

With all the snow in the USA I've got a very topical card having used Stampin' Up! set Holly Jolly Greetings to create a snowy scene with my sleigh added from the retired set  Holiday Home and sentiment from Jingle All The Way.  Holly Jolly Greetings is still available on our carryover list.

You can add my favourite bling with sequins, rhinestones and using the fine tip glue some fine silver glitter to the vellum panel that is over the stamped snowflakes.  You can use washi tape to adhere the vellum, hence getting around the issue of glue showing through and leaving marks you don't really want.

Did you see the panda at the Washington DC Zoo?  We visited him in January last year when we visited friends, but thankfully not in the snow.  Keep safe all caught up in the snow.

Back soon, but in the meantime please do visit the others in our club for more inspiration. Zx

I love the frosty feel to your card Zoe and the panel of vellum adds to the frosty touches. I've seen vellum used quite a lot lately, must get my stash out and use some up too.

Wow Christine that sounds very exciting to have seen them in China. I hope we can keep them going around the world, such lovely creatures.

Yes vellum does seem to be quite popular, easy to use to add some texture and softness. Thank you. Zx

Lucky you to see the Panda! Aren't they the most gorgeous looking of all bears? Love your sleigh card...like all that snowy goodness with the silhouette sleigh flying skyward. Great tip on the washi & vellum too. TFS & Hugs.

I love your vellum panel over the top and using the washi tape to attach is a great idea. We saw the panda clips on the TV where they said that the video had gone viral. He certainly looked like he was having fun in all that snow. Hugs Mrs A.
