I'm really liking Eclectic Expressions stamp set from the Stampin Up Saleabration second release. It's such a fun set for quick and easy cards and here'a another. Just a couple of colours and a strip of coordinating card and you have a simple elegant design.
You could use any colours and you could switch in the Happy Birthday sentiment to make both female and male cards. Of course on this one I've added my favourite bit of bling in the form of rhinestones and silver thread.
You can use up off cuts for designs like this too for the side strip and the punched out circle. All those bits you chop off to get the right size for something else come into their own with a design like this.
Colours I've used are fresh fig, lemon lime twist and berry burst. One of my favourite combinations and you may have read on an earlier post when I designed for Craft Stamper Magazine that I used this colour combo.
