New at SU Stampin' Up! Butterfly Brilliance Blog Hop

mothers day card using stampin up butterfly brilliance

Welcome to the April New at SU blog hop. We are showcasing products that will carryover from the 2021 2022 catalogue into our new annual catalogue that launches on 3 May.   I've used the Buttefly Brilliance Bundle that will no longer be a bundle in the next catalogue, but individual products of dies and stamp set so you can benefit now by saving 10% on the bundle before 2 May 2022.

I added ink to my silicon mat and then added the stamp to lift ink from it and then very carefully put the mat onto my white card stock ink side down.  This created a very subtle background of butterflies.  I used the Brilliant Wings dies from the bundle to die cut several butterflies and added subtle ink to a couple of them with a blending brush.  I've then added white and inked butterflies to my background along with my sentiment which is die cut and fussy cut from the Amazing Thanks dies.  I used letters from the word amazing and you to create the "MUM".

I also created a frame for my background using my Stampin' trimmer and the card itself is approximately A5 in size.  A handful of rhinestones adds that bling for a special Mum and also helps to disguise the join on the letters in Mum.

Enjoy our hop there's lots of inspiration along the them of Mums, Dads, Brides and Graduates.

Keep safe and keep stamping
Hugs Zoe x

This card is SO pretty! I love the soft background and the clean look of the card that makes the background stand out even more!
